We went to TRAX at Silverstone

Updated: Sep 25, 2024

TRAX is one of the biggest automotive events in the UK.

It takes place in the famous racetrack of Silverstone. It combines track action as well as vehicle and product exhibition.

After nearly two years of restrictions due to COVID-19, TRAX was a nice opportunity to go outside and check some nice cars.

At the same time, we had the opportunity to showcase one of our latest products. A fully carbon fiber intake for the R56 MINI COOPER S.

Below you can see some of our favorite cars we saw at the event:

The show was full of surprises. One of our favorite was for sure this orange BMW M3 E10. In our book this a nicely done example. Track focused, with just enough performance products to enhance the M3's driving capabilities.

Tommi Makinen EVO VI

What an amazing example. Clean and as far as we can tell 100% stock.

ree

Megane RS:

One of the best hot-hatches that came from French.

This is a nice example, with some track focused mods: suspension, wheels, tyres, cage and bucket seats. That must be a nice weapon for a track day!

ree

GOLF MK1 race car:

Next to a GOLF R MK7 we spot a fully stripped GOLF MK1.

Fully caged, with big brakes, tyres and suspension it will create headache (especially on the race track) in many drivers with newer cars.

ree

We also saw R53 Owners Club, which we are very familiar with!

ree

As you can expect there were many MINIs.

ree

The favorite car of the show, this BMW M3 E92 with wheels, tyres, suspension upgrades as well as a fully carbon fiber intake and plenum. Who wouldn't like a drive with the last NA V8 M3.

ree

Something about that carbon intake...

ree

BMW M3 F30 Station Wagon? YES PLEASE !!

ree

Visitors were able to see for the first time our carbon fiber intake kit installed at BAD BOYTUNING R56 MINI.

ree

Fully carbon fiber, plug and play fitment, comes with all the necessary brackets and hardware for the installation.

Did you ask how much power it makes? Check our dyno result in our previous blog post.

ree

It was nice to see people's reaction and answer their questions.

ree

If you have any question about our kit, please feel free to ask us.

Until the next one, take care!
